If you have Windows 10 Pro or higher, you can also use Hyper-V to run an older Windows version, e.g. XP, and install Visual C 6.0 there. Another possibility might be to virtualize it with Turbo.Net, Turbo Containers - Run Applications Anywhere [ ^ ]. I want to know if there are any issues/problems when installing Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0 C++ on Windows 7 Professional. I certainly do not want to create any problems (security or otherwise) in this setup.
